The City of Bethlehem runs six pools during the summer months. Memorial Pool, located on Illick's Mill Road is the largest
and opens around Memorial Day. The six other pools are Clearview, West Side, Stark, Yosko and Saucon. Memorial Pool is open
until Labor Day.
Season Passes are available in the Recreation Office and a daily admission is charged for those without a season pass. Swimming
lessons are offered at all pools throughout the summer as well as swim teams. |

Location: Tour leaves from the SteelStacks Center, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem, PA 18015
Brief description: With a trained guide, learn how blast furnaces worked, why men needed brass checks to get in the gate every morning, and which buildings housed which operation on this on-site walking tour that gives visitors a glimpse into the day-to-day life of a steel worker. Tours leave from SteelStacks facility.

The Ice House, a Recreation and Performing Arts Center, is located on Sand Island. The multi-purpose facility is used
by many theater groups and organizations and is available for private rentals. The PA Youth Theater & Mock Turtle Marionette Theater
perform their Theater Productions throughout the year, which are open to the public.
Anyone interested in renting the facility should
call the Recreation office for availability. For more specific dates, times & fee schedules, call the Parks & Recreation Office at 610-865-7081. |

| The City's off-leash recreation area for dogs is available to city residents Owners/Handlers are responsible
for their dogs at all times. The dog park is located at 259 Illick's Mill Road. |

Bethlehem Ice Rink (opens in the fall)  |
The Bethlehem Bureau of Recreation offers skating lessons for all ages, abilities and interests at the newly renovated outdoor rink. Our trained and experienced instructors offer a safe, fun way to learn skating basics and beyond. Our lesson program is a member of the U.S. Figure Skating’s Basic Skills Program and is endorsed by USA Hockey.
The rink is also available for hockey, private or group rentals. The fee is $275.00. There is also a party room available for rental during public sessions. Reservations are required. Anyone interested in rentals should call the Recreation Office, 610-865-7081, for availability. $50 per hour for residents and $75 per hour for non residents, paid at time of reservation.

| Sand Island Tennis & Basketball Courts |
This unique community tennis facility features a clubhouse with dressing rooms, eight lighted Har-Tru courts and
an underground watering system that ensures consistent play throughout the summer season. Hours of operation vary during the months
of May & September. Call the courts, 610-865-7007 for times.
Tennis lessons are available for all ages and ability levels. Other programs include men’s and women’s leagues – singles, doubles and mixed,
Junior Team Tennis and Special Events. |
